Merrillville Apprentices Donated their time working on a new sign for "The Lake of The Red Cedar's Museum" in Cedar Lake. The museum is over 200 years old and is on the National Historical Registry. The old sign was wood and was falling apart so eagle scout Wyatt Chalos approached the Merrillville School for help.
Included in the photos are first year apprentice Kris Boyd, second year apprentice Shawn Summar, journeyman Charlie Ishmael, apprentice instructor Pete Severson, and eagle scout Wyatt Chalos.
These images are from a donation job in Fort Wayne for a Disabled Navy Veteran. The first year apprentices did a great job. Featured in the photos are Guadalupe Benavides, Ryne Charlton, Cory Sandburg, and Spencer York.
